Dermatest® 5-Star Seal

The Dermatest® 5-star seal recognises products that successfully complete application studies under dermatological supervision. Studies generally involve at least 20 participants selected for the intended user group, who use the product as directed for at least four weeks.
Testing takes place on the intended skin area to evaluate skin tolerability during repeated use. Depending on the study, assessments may also include skin measurements, participant feedback and additional patch testing.
The seal provides evidence of tolerability under the study conditions, although individual skin reactions remain possible.
